A pump station installation in Northern Tasmania required a custom solution to meet specific site and system requirements. A custom manifold was fabricated in house by Tefco Piping Systems, featuring a DN250 inlet branching into three DN200 outlets, allowing flow to be distributed evenly across three lines while maintaining consistent pressure and performance throughout the system.
This configuration was made to suit the pump station’s operating conditions, providing a reliable and efficient way to manage water distribution without the need for additional fittings or modifications on site. The use of custom fabrication also meant the final product could be matched precisely to the design drawings, supporting a smooth and accurate installation.
By utilising in house fabrication, this ensured the entire process was carried out in a controlled environment, to meet strict quality standards. Weld quality and outlet positioning were measured to ensure the manifold was ready for seamless installation on site.
