A failing steel culvert beneath a road bridge posed a significant challenge due to structural collapse, requiring a durable and cost effective rehabilitation solution.
Instead of full replacement, which would have been disruptive and costly, Corrutech was chosen to slip line the existing structure.
The collapsed steel culvert was relined using 1400 Ø Corrutech pipe. This lightweight yet robust product allowed for seamless installation while significantly extending the service life of the culvert. The slip lining process provided a long term, corrosion resistant solution while saving significant time by eliminating the need for excavation. The Corrutech pipe was simply inserted into the existing structure, enabling a faster and more efficient installation while minimising disruption to the community. With an expected service life of over 100 years, Corrutech offers a durable and future-proof solution.
