A unit development in Deloraine, Tasmania, required a reliable and efficient stormwater management system that could handle significant water volumes while meeting local council regulations.
Tefco Piping Systems supplied a custom solution featuring a DN750mm Corrutech pipe system with a total capacity of approximately 21,000 litres, paired with a DN600 Corrutank, providing an additional 5,000 litres of stormwater storage. This combination ensured optimal water detention and controlled discharge, effectively managing runoff without overwhelming the surrounding infrastructure.
The integration of Corrutech pipes and the Corrutank was specifically designed to accommodate the site’s topography and drainage requirements, offering a robust and low-maintenance alternative to traditional stormwater systems. The HDPE construction of the Corrutech system provided exceptional durability ensuring long-term performance even in challenging environmental conditions.
One of the key considerations in this project was compliance with local stormwater management regulations.
